“The Golden colour coffee which is earthy bold rich with a balanced pH and malty sweetness.”
Monsooned Malabar, an original craft Coffee is a gift from India to the rest of the world. The credit first goes to Sufi Saint Bababudan who planted coffee in India and second to British Raj who exported coffee to Europe. With an accidental discovery, an Indian Priceless coffee was born out of monsooning of coffee in rain during sea transit from India to Europe. Kent. SLN 795, Cattuai and other Green Arabica cherries are now monsooned across the Malabar coast. Monsooning of these AA-grade beans turns their colour to golden yellow. This unique one of its kind process in India imparts a distinct flavour to coffee. It's musky, bold, intense, earthy, fresh herbs and malty.
True to Indian origin, this priceless coffee undergoes dual processing. First, the seeds are naturally dried under the sun after harvest and then during monsoon, they are exposed to moisture-laden monsoon winds under proper shade across the Malabar coast of Southern West of India. This processing alters the bean's size, colour, aroma and acidity, making it the best choice to brew Monsooned Malabar as Cold Brew, Espresso or Pour over. Monsooned Malabar is a sheer treat and a crown of India from the Crown rule. Monsooned Malabar is our signature kicky light roasted, original craft coffee. India has many Priceless offerings, and Monsooned Malabar is uniquely one of them.
